The Luwint M6 is a compact elastomer bellows mechanical seal for selected imperial-shaft pump applications. Its rotary assembly combines a sealing face, flexible bellows and single coil spring, paired with a separate elastomer-mounted stationary seat.
The M6 catalogue covers six shaft sizes from ⅜ inch to 1 inch. It provides a replacement option for pump servicing where the rotary dimensions, stationary seat and installed working length match the existing arrangement.

Check more than the nominal shaft size. The rotary outside diameter, stationary-seat diameter, seat thickness and installation length must all suit the pump.
For example, the ½-inch M6 catalogue entry lists a rotary outside diameter D1 of 27.0 mm, stationary-seat dimension D2 of 25.4 mm, rotary working length L1 of 16.7 mm and stationary-seat length L2 of 8.0 mm.
L1 excludes the stationary seat. Use the complete installation drawing when checking the available axial space and setting the seal.
M6, M6A and M6B have different configurations and dimensional tables. Confirm the exact model rather than treating the suffix versions as interchangeable.
